The big win - and the big payday - are close at hand, if you've covered all the ground and solidified your hold on the Xbox Madden 10 basics. If you screw up like an amateur, don't be surprised if your opponent has you dazed and confused. Better get to know the playbook, backwards and forwards - and figure out a winning strategy. We're sure that you Xbox sports gamers know this and know it well, but in the event that it's slipped your mind: don't go too nuts with the passing - we do get that it's a tempting road to take, with the lure of some major yardage. On the other hand, now you've left yourself open for a turnover. See to it that your Xbox Madden 10 skills are in top form before you make some big bets. Blow the whistle and let the kickoff commence, once you've concocted a winning strategy. What we're really saying is, time to invite your rivals to take you on in the online video game arena of champions. In the annals of the video game community, the biggest badasses tend to be the Xbox Madden 10 fanatics - they play until the bitter end. But with some solid playing, you can still win the game - and your opponent's money. End any debate over who the greatest Xbox Madden 10 player is, after you play Xbox games online for money. We're certain that you haven't forgotten what a mega-popular game Xbox Madden 09 was - and that means it has some pretty tough shoes to fill. It happens - it always happens when you've got the final word in football video games like the Madden franchise releasing the newest chapter in the series. And that scrutiny is especially pronounced from the hardcore gamers, who have high expectations, understandably. We're pleased to report that Madden, unlike other sports video games, is almost immune to letting the fans down - and Xbox Madden 10 is no anomaly. Not content to rest on their laurels, with the crowning achievement that was Madden 09, EA Sports made sure that this was another big football video game coup. Xbox Madden 10 fanatics have something to really rejoice about this time around - brand new Pro-Tak animation technology, which really gives hardcore gamers a leg up, allowing them greater control of every play's outcome. Players can fight for the fumble, their tackles are steerable, they can have 9-man gang tackling, and their quarterback can shift around the pocket. Video football games just got even more realistic. The improved graphics are just one of the many new features that Xbox Madden 10 is boasting. Now, Xbox Madden 10 bears even more resemblance to an afternoon of viewing NFL on TV, courtesy of broadcast-style presentation, and a more "cinematic" camera style. The authenticity levels just went up as well -- referees yank the players from fumble piles, all-new player equipment is available, and there's more accurate, authentic kicking and throwing styles. There's more lifelike acceleration and turn rates, not that the player momentum has been improved. New to the playbooks of Xbox Madden 10 gamers is the always effective wildcat offense. As we've seen before, EA Sports has struck football video gaming gold with their latest Madden entry. Xbox Madden 10's epic soundtrack is another facet that will rev up the hardcore gamers and force them to up their game. Ever since gaming employed soundtracks, things haven't been the same for the sports video game world. Xbox Madden 10's soundtrack features songs from all eras, each bringing their own amount of fierceness to the party. Get a glimpse of the Xbox Madden 10 soundtrack list, which will no doubt electrify: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

Xbox Madden 10 Contests Kick off the Best Showdown

If learning about all the new stuff still hasn't made you excited about Xbox Madden 10, then maybe a visit to video gaming's not-so-distant past can put things into perspective. On one hand, it's probably not too cool to say Xbox Madden 10 is great, just because it stands out next to crap from 30 years ago. On the other hand, after a closer examination of the older football video games, it's easier to comprehend why Xbox Madden 10 has been at the center of such unadulterated adulation. Certainly, there was a huge, untapped market for football video games, when the first generation of console games made their debut. But the catch was, the power of the early video game consoles didn't exactly equal the imaginations and desires of those early hardcore gamers, so everyone had to settle for less. Even then, the game companies were excellent at the hype, and kept boasting that this one boasted "all the excitement" of real football. They didn't even try to make those guys look like people. What are you gonna do? And if the picture has you cringing, you can only imagine what the gameplay is like. From a technological standpoint, things were so basic, that multiple players moving at once meant that the only thing extreme about this game was the flickering of the players. Sound effects didn't fare much better, with the "spectators" sounding more like a car with a busted muffler. As you'd probably guessed, there wasn't a scrolling screen for this one. Soon, the first round of the console wars would begin, and the competition created a football video game of their own. A serious effort was made with this next one, in order to give gamers a football video game closer to the real thing. A step in the right direction, but work needed to be done still. No doubt, it was a real exciting time for hardcore gamers, but there was still a ways to go before football video games would dominate the industry. Gamers would have to wait a while on the bench before that came true. But this one, which was released in the late 80s, as part of the next generation of game consoles, really hit it big, to the point where people still love it. Over the years, this was the yardstick by which all football video games were measured.

Can't argue with the fact that the hardcore gamers did take to this one - for the first time, the NFL got the red-carpet treatment from a football video game. With the improvements in both the sound and the graphics, gamers saw this as the first and last word in video football games. Today, there's even a new incarnation of the game, and with that is a renewed reverence for it. While worthy of praise, it still trails in the distance from Xbox Madden 10. It's always great to see how far we, and football video games, have come. We've had a few chuckles, but mocking less advanced video games isn't a productive use of our time. We think you understand. You have to start somewhere, and those other games did - and Xbox Madden 10 would have never been possible if it weren't for those older football video games. Of course, Xbox Madden 10 has really kicked this one over the goal posts, which has the video game world pretty pleased. The reviewers have spoken, and they're as stoked as the gamers, which is always a cause for celebration. "Realistic and enjoyable" are comments you'll see during most Xbox Madden 10 reviews. EA Sports didn't even come close to fumbling the ball with Xbox Madden 10, that's for sure.

To hell with the people who bag on Xbox Madden 10 - it truly is the best football video game out there. As great as Xbox sports video games offerings are, Xbox Madden 10 is at the top of the pack. With Xbox Madden 10, the debate over the best football video game can be laid to rest. More than just a great game, it's a chance to display your video game excellence, when you clash for cash.

The stakes have been raised, and Xbox Madden 10 maniacs now can take each other on for some serious cash. After you've really given yourself a crash course and learned all the rules, you'll score touchdown after touchdown - and make off with your rival's bankroll as well.
